Management Team/Core Group

Mrs. Premila Pavamani, Executive Director/ Co-Founder
Premila, along with her late husband Vijayan Pavamani, founded EMC in 1971. Both of them shared the same dreams and vision for this ministry and worked together right until Vijayan's tragic and sudden demise on August 20th, 2006. Today she is the Executive Director of EMC and works for the same ideals that she and Vijayan outlined so many years ago. She is highly respected and loved by all those who work with her.

Mr. Shajan George, Associate Director
Shajan has worked with the organization and has provided integral leadership, loyalty and support for thirty years. As Associate Director he also heads the finance department. 

Mrs. Ilora Barik Sil, Project Coordinator
Ilora is a gifted and professional counselor. She is both deeply compassionate and caring and also efficiently systematic in her methods. 

Mr. Proshanto Baroi, Asst. Project Coordinator & Documentation Officer
Proshanto is committed to helping the vulnerable. He has been with EMC for 10 years and serves as the administrator for the Anandoloy Home for Boys.

Mr. Kristofer Mallick, Advisor
Kris is the Pastor of Jeevan Jyoti Fellowship Church in Kolkata and also leads three youth groups each averaging about 60 kids. Apart from being involved in his pastoral duties Kris is also the Administrator of the Calcutta Emmanuel School.

Mr. Finney Thomas, Chairman
Mr. Thomas is the Secretary and Deacon of a local church and the Director of Key Electrical Private Limited, India. Mr. Thomas serves as Chairman of the Board of Governors of Jatiyo Khrishtiyo Prochar Samity (JKPS), a Christian organization. He is a gifted singer and musician who performs at concerts held at local churches and institutions.  

Mr. Sunil Dev Roy
Mr. Dev Roy is a Deacon of the Assembly of God Church, Kolkata, and Director of Vivada Inland Waterways Limited. He also serves as the President of Gideon International, Kolkata.

Rev. Alfred E. Franks
Reverend Franks is the Managing Trustee of Operation Mobilization in India, a charitable organisation. OM is involved in various humanitarian efforts within India.

Rev. Ashok Andrews
Reverend Andrews is the pastor of Kolkata Christian Fellowship church. He also heads the Jatiyo Khrishtiyo Prochar Samity (JKPS).

Rev. Dr. Tony Sargent
Reverend. Dr. Sargent is Principal Emeritus, International Christian College, Glasgow, UK. He is also a former board member and present partner of Operation Mobilisation (OM). He was awarded a doctorate by the Strathclyde University for his vast contribution in philanthropy.

Mr. V.V. Tambi
Mr. Thambi is the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) for Pollution Control under the Government of West Bengal

Mr. D.P. Poddar
Mr. Poddar is the Executive Director of West Bengal Voluntary Health Organisation and Secretary of the Calcutta Keswick.

Dr. J.K. Jonathan
Dr. Jonathan is a church Deacon and a retired officer from the Geological Survey of India, Government of India
